Puijo, Finland This month video: Tallinn project meeting
Italy students are presenting their work :)
The aim of the partnership is to enable students from 7 countries to build on their entrepreneurship, ICT and communication skills in order to join the European labor market, take initiative and adapt to a multinational society.
The first part of the project focuses on the rights and responsibilities of employees and the work conditions in each country. Students will make visits to business firms, offer suggestions for improvement, make statistics and foresee business opportunities.
In the second part, participants will set up business plans related to media, tourism or transportation, create advertising campaigns for the mock firms, write CV-s and covering letters for fictitious positions, have job interview simulations and “recruit” personnel.
We shall heighten students’ learning motivation, build on their key competences, foster lifelong learning skills and tolerance and encourage business initiatives.
The project will also focus of the use of ICT to improve teaching and school management.
During mobilities teachers will exchange teaching methods and materials and students will get to know each other’s cultures, practise English, come in contact with representatives of business firms and will disseminate the results in their own schools.
We will involve students, teachers parents, business firms, the local community and the press.
Our end products will be a Project web site with students’ mock business firms, an electronic book (model CVs, covering letters and interview recordings) and a multilingual brochure (work responsibilities and rights of employees).
